But then, he was a network marketer who needed his downline to be confident. But there is confidence in what we do, like our work or business, and then there is a confidence in who we are that is unshakeable regardless of what we do, whether we succed or not. It is a knowing that who we are is not only defined by what we accomplish but by who we are, how we "be," if you will. That being said, there are actions we can take that allow us to move into this state of confidence. It can be as simple as moving toward what we want, even if it scares us, in small steps. Making that one phone call. Setting up that meeting. Saying hello. Someone once told me, “Life is a confidence game.”
