UK Online Recruitment Magazine: Resumes evolve

Here is my latest article on how traditional paper resumes will evolve
into video or multimedia based resumes in the future. It was posted today
in UK Online Recruitment Magazine if you would like to read further.
It is far easier for employers to consume electronic materials than
reading a complete resume. Video’s allow for a more personalized
approach.

Dan
I was asked about video resumes just yesterday by a group of unemployed Canadian professionals and executives so your article was timely.
This is a logical next step as part of the personal branding job search process and being more memorable. I am sure there are corporations out there that are thinking about htis as part of their intranet initiatives to showcase promotable employees.
To make even more of an impact and to give hiring managers and recruiters and even fuller picture I suggested to link the video resume to a web portfolio.
Just my toonies worth
