Brand Mystery 1 – Name that Personal Brand

July 25, 2007 at 12:51 am | In Brand Mystery, Interview, Networking, Personal Branding | 8 Comments

This week, I will be starting a new series called “Brand Mystery” where I will be showing you a Personal Brand and allowing you to guess who it might be. The winner will be mentioned in a future blog post. Also, if no one can guess this brand, each reoccurring post will further help you uncover the truth.

Personal Branding is all about uncovering who you are. Your appearance is your first impression on your audience. The Personal Brand featured below reflects the importance of this element.

  1. William Jefferson Clinton, former President of the United States

  2. Branded -in- the USA? Hmm, It ain’t Abbie Hoffman! (He was a media-stuntin’ war rebel from the 60’s — also was referenced in Forrest Gump — Abbie was controversial for wearing the flag — as he does in the movie — and cursing a lot. — Abbie Hoffman was a role model for me in high school.) Anyhow, my point is that Abbie Hoffman (aka Barry Freed) was branded in the USA… but this guy may be another politico that I spent time in college studying :)

  3. Slick Willie, Bill Clinton!

  4. Ex President William Clinton

  5. Yeah, that’s Bill alright.

  6. So, are we all winners? Or, was the first person to guess it right the winner? It wasn’t clear in your “rules.” Good idea though!

  7. I don’t think it is Bill Clinton. He was my first guess but the picture doesn’t look like him. I think it is Al Gore. He has certainly branded himself since leaving the VP job.

  8. [...] bragging of his own (which gives him more credibility), obviously the awards, most recently a Brand Autopsy contest/game, and even a fair amount of link [...]
