I wanted to find a comprehensive and authoritative list of descriptions, as so many people find it confusing – especially the difference between brand and identity – and new terms are being coined regularly. One of the best is the comprehensive glossary on Brand Channel http://www.brandchannel.com/education_glossary.asp but there’s a glaring oversight. They haven’t included a definition for “personal branding”. There's a link on the page to submit entries if you're interested. :) I’ve just been Googling branding terms and looking at glossaries.
